The discussion on DPs is always interesting from both sides. Id say I fall somewhere in between on that one, they can both help and hurt the MLS and its franchises.

ESPN does a respectable job of putting the game on TV, the presentation is relatively good, but the commentary is no where near the level you find any given weekend in the European Leagues.

Hmm…with that in mind, I wonder what you guys are thinking about Brian Ching these days .

I know it has been fashionable for Crew fans to talk about how the Moreno deal was no good for Dynamo, but that is waaay off. We got Joseph Ngwenya in the deal, who went on to tie for the team lead in goals AND score the equalizing goal in MLS Cup. Moreno, on the other hand, has, um, uh, hmmm, had a few nice goals in April. All hands together please for Senor Abril!!

Now, don’t get me wrong, Moreno is a talented player who is playing well, at least right now, and seems to be a real stand up guy. There is also not a single Dynamo fan who didn’t love the guy, though his long disappearances stretched our patience. However, it is inaccurate in the extreme to say it was a bad deal for Dynamo. It was instead one of the greatest of all trades, one that actually helps out both teams.
